Types of parquet flooring
If we speak about the most expensive types of parquet, then they are laid with special varnish and oil. The oak parquet after varnishing looks very smartly. The beautiful picture of this wood becomes more obvious. Hereby the oak parquet gives the colorful and deep tones to the environment both by sunlight and artificial light.
The parquet from ash and nut wood obtains a great appearance, using varnish and oils. Besides hereby their characteristics are improved by many times. As you know parquet is the material from the wood. And despite excellent characteristics of wood it would not be very durable without processing. After varnishing and oil coating it can serve for some tens of years!
Knotting is used in addition to the abovementioned methods for parquet processing. In this case it shall be coated with special solution, which is necessary in order this material could stand the moisture and remain hereby without any damages.
The laminated parquet possesses the same characteristics. It has the protective layer, which prevents from effects of moisture, heat and mechanical effects to a certain degree. But if the parquet, laminated and coated with oil, is, as a rule, produced from natural materials, then the laminated board combines natural and artificial components. In any case the coating is laid in order to make it attractive and durable. Of course, the processed parquet needs cautious care and careful treatment. The parquetry with such material shall be performed carefully in order to achieve the desired result – beautiful and durable floor.
