Classics, proven with time

The first parquet floors appeared in XVIII century. The forefather of parquet is the ordinary plank floor, which, in comparison with other types of floor coverings at that time, possessed the main advantage – it was warm. The main disadvantage of plank floor was its monotony because it is impossible to make the floor from the plank, even being well planed and coated with paints, which can be compared with the mosaic floor due to the beauty. At that time one had the idea to divide the board into geometrical planks, from which it was possible to compose different variants of floor coverings.

When with the lapse of time one achieved the skills to lay the parquet floor, using different species of wood, the real artworks came into being. It was already the ornamental parquet, which samples are now presented in the world museum treasures. In nowadays the block parquet very easily combines the beauty and durability, warmness and endurance, art and luxury in itself, as well as such, not the least of the factor as affordability.
