After drying, the work pieces are processed at special machines, as a result of which they obtain the appearance of the parquet block. The quality for the geometry of parquet block, in first turn, depends on the class of the equipment, on which the processing was made. The modern equipment allows processing the work pieces actually with extremely high precision, as a result of which the blocks are ideally joined together.

The usage of poor quality or run-down material results in uneven indices for geometry of the parquet blocks. The cracks, which are very undesirable, may appear already at the stage for parquet laying.
