Block parquet

Block parquet is one of the most widespread types of the parquet.  Due to modern technologies of production, strips of wood have perfectly even form.  This parquet is easily laid and very practical.

The projecting of block parquet floor covering using different parquetry methods and combination of material texture and color allows fulfilling a wide range of designer’s opportunities.

 Block parquet flooring is indeed universal.

The floor with such covering emphasizes austerity of a classic drawing room, adds warmth and comfort to a children’s room and brings natural vividness into bold modern interior.

This parquet shows the natural richness of wood texture in full and reveals its character.

Each tree has its own peculiar character, the same as people.  When choosing this or that sort of wood or parquetry method a person actually chooses something more than just flooring, s/he chooses the character of the interior.

Therefore, very often this flooring reflects the character of the inhabitant.  For example, light, low-duty types of wood with “deck”    laying creates the atmosphere of light movement and could be the choice of a person with calm character, self-confident, who loves calm classical music and has rich imagination.  However, this is just an individual approach to one or another project, every person sees it through the eyes of interior feelings.

Beech, oak, ash-tree, sweet cherry-tree, maple or birch, cherry-tree and pear-tree – all variety of traditional wood species and species of Ukrainian exotics used by “Inex Ukr Parket.”

Block parquet is produced in accordance with technical characteristics TU U 25635395.01-98 and is also produced in accordance with all requirements of European Standard DIN 280 (German) and by far exceeds requirements of GOST 862.-1-86 standard “Block parquet.”

Parquet is packed in polythene film, depending on the presence or absence of natural characteristics of the wood on the front surface of parquet.

Irrelevant of the class, the parquet has irreproachable geometry and humidity 8+-2%.

Block parquet is made in length of 200-500 mm, in width of 50, 60, 70 mm.

Raw materials of block parquet is wood of the following  species-oak,  ash tree, maple, elm, acacia, walnut.

• 400х70х16 (22) мм
• 500х60х16 (22) мм
• 400х60х16 (22) мм 

After production, parquet manually graded into four classes depending on absence or presence of natural characteristics of wood on the front surface of parquet block.

•       NATUR              
•       RUSTICAL
•       GESTR
•       ANTIC

Given classification also completely corresponds with all requirements of European standard DIN 280.

Sometimes, block parquet with other names of classes can be found.  When picking parquet, you need to pay attention because class of parquet and respectively the price depends on the value of wood, and not on the name.

Main characteristics of one or another class of parquet are indicated below:

 Class “NATUR” (Selected)

This class represents selected material conveying a variety of shades and structure of natural wood.  Its class is predetermined by natural growth.  Difference in structure and colour is inadmissible. Class “NATUR” parquet decorates the most exquisite dwelling, will give it the spirit of exclusivity and nobility on any premises.

Class “RUSTICAL”

It differentiates by picturesque garishness of shades.  Healthy, firmly blind knots with 5 mm size and droplet up to 3 mm are admissible.

It preserves strictness of geometrical arrangement and humidity allowance as the parquet of the higher class.  Such parquet will revive monotony of flooring and will not allow confusion of natural wood with artificial flooring.

Class “GESTER”

Dark and light colours, healthy, firmly blind knots with up 10 mm size are admissible.  This class is for the connoisseurs of beautiful natural wood texture.  Parquet preserves exceptional variety of wood.

Class “ANTIC”

Dramatic difference in colour and presence of knots is acceptable.  It preserves the same strictness of geometrical arrangement and humidity allowance as the parquet of higher classes.  It will fit well the styles: “Country,” “Modern.”
