Parquet highlights.

The feminists state than a man is like the floor: if it is chosen and laid correctly, then you can walk on it without problems for the whole life. Thus, the main complexity by arrangement of the floor is in its choice – the construction materials shops offer a number of descriptions for different floor coatings.

But the pragmatic people choose the parquet from “Inex Ukr Parket” – it is beautiful, substantial and durable. The parquet, made from natural, environmentally friendly wood, provides with unique atmosphere and comfort in the apartment, gives the special elegance and refinement to the interior.

We will discuss two kinds of parquet: block and geometrical parquet.

The most durable and lasting one is block parquet. Its main advantage is its thickness (16 mm, 22 mm), as you know the thicker parquet is, the longer it will serve. If the parquet is laid correctly (the parquet layers from “Inex Ukr Parket” make it very qualitatively), then it is taken care of, it will serve for some decades: when upper layer is rubbed away, it is sufficient to scrap the block parquet, to lay it with varnish – and the floor will look like the new one. The block parquet suits to any part of apartment, except the kitchen and bathroom due to increased moisture in these premises. There a lot of methods for laying the block parquet. Recently the geometrical parquet enjoys the special popularity. The wood of different species is used by manufacture of geometrical parquet. It is light species – hornbeam, beech, pine, ash tree. More saturated ones are oak and cherry tree. And dark ones are nut tree, ebony and mahogany. The exotic wood: campus, merbau, ironwood, teak, siam, jatoba, etc. is also used. Hereby, as the specialists from the company “Inex Ukr Parket” think, not only the compatibility of species due to color and texture is taken into consideration but their “behavior” with changes in temperature, moisture, as well as under effect of different loads. The geometrical parquet can be of two types: panel parquet and mosaic parquet. In the first case the picture of the parquet is divided into equal “squares” – panels with the area of ¼ sq. m each. The elements, cut from work piece of different species, are joined into panels-fragments, which are carefully adjoined together on the site. Of course it is much easier to lay the panel parquet than the mosaic one. Another thing is when the picture is joined together on the site like mosaic. Such method for laying requires exquisite workmanship. That is why the cost of such floors is often high. One from the most important characteristics of wood, which is used to make the parquet products, is its durability. The oak is considered to be the standard for durability. It should be mentioned that the wood hardness depends on the conditions of tree growth, in particular interchange of wet and dry years, to much degree. Therefore the noticeable differences can be observed even within the same species.
