Price and quality of parquet.

If one looks through price-lists of different producers, one can notice that the prices, seemingly, on one and the same parquet are varied within very wide limits. Why does it take place? Let’s try to find out what influences on the cost of parquet, how its producer can save on. Two main factors, which influence on the price of parquet products, are the cost of raw materials for production of parquet and cost for production of the parquet itself.

Besides the producer itself, the sellers of the parquet can influence on the price, one and the same parquet from the same producer can be bought at different places on different price.

And generally one should understand that the good wood for production of parquet costs a lot.

There are two ways for producer to buy it cheaper – to purchase the wood, being “a little” unconditioned, simply speaking, the one, which is obvious not for parquet, or to buy the wood, being “good one and not expensive”, due to “to special relations”. “The special relations” often mean the full absence of any certificates. It does not mean that the wood will be of poor quality – its quality may be rather high (although as well it may not) but the question about ecological compatibility of the wood from such origin (and so the parquet itself) becomes disputable.

Thus, if the producer managed to save on the cost of raw materials, you should buy such parquet very and very carefully.
